This meeting will commence at 7pm.

A presentation will be carried out by HK Planning in relation to the proposed 50 homes off Forest Road – 26/02427/OUT Outline planning permission, with full planning permission sought for access into the Site from Forest Road.

This means that the detail of the vehicular and pedestrian access into the Site is seeking planning permission, together with the principle of a residential redevelopment of the land that forms the majority of the Site. The application is formed by a full suite of documents and reports which assess the Site and provide a detailed understanding of it, as a result of these reports an illustrative scheme has been prepared as part of the application submission which demonstrates that the Site has capacity to accommodate up to 50 no. houses. The houses shown on the illustrative scheme are a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses, each of which benefits from its own rear garden and driveway with the required level of off road parking. The scheme also allows for more than the policy requirement of open space in the form of natural amenity space and a children’s play area. 45% of the homes proposed will be made available on affordable tenures. As the scheme is seeking only outline permission the layout, scale, appearance and landscaping of the scheme will be detailed at reserved matters stage. The illustrative scheme put forward is really just one possible interpretation of the design parameters put forward and a useful tool to demonstrate the capacity of the Site.

The proposed access is in a similar location to the existing Greenacre’s access, and includes a pedestrian and bicycle path within the Site with crossing points to the eastern side of Forest Road where the existing footbridge links the Site to Cuddington Village and railway station.
