Cuddington Parish Council is the most local tier of local government. Cheshire West and Chester Council are responsible for most of the services provided in the area.
The Parish Council fills any gaps as appropriate. For example the Parish Council provides an annual grant to the Trustees of the Playing Field towards the maintenance costs of the Norley Road playing field (at the Village Hall). The Parish Council has now paid off the loan taken out to finance the building of the village hall. It also represents Parish views and objections to other bodies such as Cheshire West and Chester Council, the Police, the Housing Trust.
Council Tax payers pay a Parish Precept and elected Parish Councillors meet normally on the 3rd Monday of each month at Cuddington Village Hall commencing at 7.15pm. Members of the public are welcome to take part in the public forum at the beginning of each meeting and listen to proceedings thereafter. The Parish Council aims to be open and transparent in everything it does.
