Annual Parish Meetings

What it is:

The Annual Parish Meeting (APM) is a mandatory yearly meeting that is held by all Parish and Town Councils in England, as required by the Local Government Act 1972. 

Purpose:

It serves as a democratic platform for the Parish Council to report on its activities over the past year and for the public to raise questions or express opinions. 

The meeting must be held between March 1st and June 1st, and proceedings begin at 7pm.
